Pastors' Conference

Philip Nation, Director of Ministry Development with LifeWay Research, will be the speaker for this conference. He holds a master of divinity from Beeson Divinity School and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. In his work, he speaks regularly in churches and conference settings. In 2010, he is serving as the National Spokesperson for the Back to Church Sunday initiative led by Outreach. Philip is the coauthor of Compelled by Love: The Most Excellent Way to Missional Living with Ed Stetzer (New Hope Publishers, 2008). He is also the author of the LifeWay small-group studies Compelled by Love: A Journey to Missional Living and Growing Disciples Series: Live in the Word. In 2010, he was a contributing author to The Great Commission Resurgence: Fulfilling God’s Mandate in Our Lifetime (edited by Lawless and Greenway). Philip and his wife, Angie, make their home in Tennessee, with their two sons, Andrew and Chris.
