Colorado Baptist Disaster Relief Wish List

This is a list of proposed equipment, needed upgrades to current equipment and administrative needs by CBDR.  Pricing of various equipment and upgrades will range from $40.00 to $50,000. 

This list will be updated as needs are addressed or as maintenence issues and proposed equipment needs come to light.

This "wish List" is organized by priority

2- 1 ton dually pick-up truck(s)- Currently needed as tow vehicle for CBDR feeding unit and general purpose use.

  •  Crew cab, 4 wheel drive(preferred). Set up with bumper and gooseneck (future) towing capacity
  • #2 would be primary hauling unit for all subordinate equipment and back-up main tow unit.  same set up as #1 (preferred)
  • Prefer Ford or Dodge- Gas or Diesel
  • ALTERNATE VEHICLE #2- 3/4 or 1 ton single wheel pick-up truck.  same standards and set up as vehicle #1

Shower Unit-PROPOSED

  • Combination shower/laundry unit for use by volunteers (combo) and those affected (shower)
  • 4-8 stall unit

Water Trailer-PROPOSED

  • 100gal poly tank for gray water storage/removal
  • trash pump/plumbing for gray water removal
  • 100gal poly potable water storage plumbed for fill and discharge
  • ALTERNATE POTABLE STORAGE- 100gal Potable Water bladder can be stored on ground and filled.
  • mounted generator
  • mounted water purification unit

Temporary Child Care-PROPOSED

  • Equipment and supplies for TCC in fixed site to meet National Child Care standards
  • portability (tubs, cabilnets, etc.) for transport of TCC supplies and unit

28' Gooseneck Enclosed Box Trailer-REPLACEMENT/UPGRADE

  • rolling deck doors-rear/side, trailer mounted awning
  • replace/upgrade for current feeding unit trailer
  • larger storage capacity and easier to tow and maneuver

CBDR Large Feeding Unit

  • 40gal tilt skillet-electric
  • double convection oven-electric

                          These pieces of equipment will in crease our feeding capacity from 4000 to 8-10,000 meals per day

  • 3-50gal horse troughs- for use as wash/rinse/sanitize basins for equipment
  • sanitary gray water holding tank/bladder
  • pump off system for gray water
  • water purification system- for kitchen use only (see water trailer)
  • 4-50ft heavy duty POTABLE water hoses

Western CO Feeding Unit

  • 4-50ft Heavy Duty water hoses
  • 4-50ft Heavy Duty POTABLE water hoses
  • 2-50ft sewer hose
  • POTABLE water storage tank/bladder
  • Water Purification system
  • 2-35gal portable RV style gray water storage tanks
  • 3-33 gal trashcans- liners

Administrative/Maintenence Needs

Repairs/Upgrades

  • Roadmaster Active Suspention System upgrade- Comm Unit, CBDR Support unit(shuttle), trucks (future)

ID Credentialing system- for interagency compliance

  • ID badges maker
  • Color printing ink
  • ID card stock (will need to include hologram in the future)
