Colorado Missions Offering 2010
Two major interstates, I-25 and I-70, span across Colorado. These highways reflect the diversity of our great state. Going east to west, I-70 cuts across the plains, Front Range, and mountain west of our state. Each region is equally filled with people who are loved by God, spiritually lost, and searching for hope. Going north to south along the Front Range, I-25 reflects a blend of urban, suburban, and rural people groups. All are mixed together along this highly populated corridor.
These regions, represented along both highways, reveal the opportunities and challenges we face as Colorado Baptists. We are called by God to reach a diverse and unique demographic of people. And to reach these people, we need churches that are ready to engage and share the good news of Jesus!
We also need resources to fund the projects that God calls us towards. The needs are great, but God loves the people of our state and will give us what we need to reach out with the message of Jesus.
This is why we have the Colorado Missions Offering in Honor of Nicy Murphy.
During the middle of August you should receive a church resource package that will include all of the materials your church needs to participate in the Colorado Missions Offering in Honor of Nicy Murphy. Your package will contain:
- Week of Prayer Guide for Colorado Missions
- Colorado Missions Offering Posters for you church
- DVD with 4 videos you can share with your church
- DVD resource disk with prinatbles and graphics
- Offering envelopes to use in collecting money for the Colorado Missions Offering
