Girls’ Ministry

There’s a growing trend of churches starting girls’ ministry due to the overwhelming need to speak into the lives of young ladies needing guidance through the unique problems of womanhood.

Pam Gibbs, Lifeway Girls’ Ministry Specialist, recently shared at Define weekend, about the needs of girls and how churches can effectively reach them. “Many of you are already doing a girls’ ministry. Anytime you are intentional about meeting the needs of teen girls, that’s girls’ ministry.”

She explained that a girls’ ministry is a part of the church’s ministry to not only the girls, but to parents and leaders as well. Ministry can be incorporated anywhere girls are and should involve discipleship, in addition to, just fun.
