Prayer for MSC Workers

Please pray for Mission Service Corps workers as they serve the Lord in a variety of settings:

Tommy and Margaret McRight (MSC Consultants, Pikes Peak Association)

Pray for Christians to become convicted to be willing to serve in their churches and not attend just for entertainment. Pray for the town of Calahan. Starting June 1st the will be the interim pastoral couple for Calvary Baptist , Monte Vista. Please pray for them in this ministry.

Pat and Alma Pattison (Prison Ministry)

Pray for after care ministry and women’s shelter. Also pray for their son Roger who is an alcoholic, and has lost his job.

Jack and Pat McAskill (Mission Service Corps Consultants)

Pray for their decision on whether to be the assistant to the DOM in their association. Pay for revival in our country, state, and area where we live.

Kent and Elizabeth Slack (Collegiate Ministry, Univ. of Colorado Springs)

Pray for leadership in their college group and for them to become passionate about sharing Christ. Their health insurance will expire in August, pray for this need for all Christian Challenge workers.

Tim Farrington

Pray for what venue he should take in his desire to be evangelistic; he needs direction.

Don Wilbur (Prison Ministry)

Pray for wisdom in how to minister to the staff at the Limon prison, as well as to continue working with the inmates.

Larry and Pat Walker (Colorado Baptist State MSC Coordinators)

Pray that MSC Missionaries would be able to continue in their ministries and that God will bless them. Pray that MSC would grow in numbers in Colorado. Also, that they can continue to serve and minister where God leads.

Dave and Kathy Britton (MSC Workers in the Royal Gorge Association)

Pray for their ministry and how they can best be used.

Dorothy Caddell (VA Hospital)

Pray for her ministry at the VA hospital. Also for her home church in Walsenburg which is experiencing difficulties.

Bob and Dorothy Swift (Recent MSC workers in Royal Gorge Association)

Pray for them as they move to Benson, AZ. Pray for their family in the passing of their 41 year old daughter-in-law.

Jim and Nancy Thrailkill (MSC Consultants for Grand Valley Association)

Jim and Nancy Thrailkill are in Haiti, at the CMBH (Florida's mission headquarters). They will be there until July 1st.Pray for the work teams going there, for strength and safety.  Pray for their witness to the Haitians, and to the other aid agencies working there.  Pray for health and safety for them as they work in Incident Command.  Nancy has had a very bad cough for several days, and the congestion seems to be settled in for the duration.Praise God for the salvation of one of the college team they brought there in May. 

Betty Hall (MSC Consultant and Church Strengthener)

Pray for her as she adjusts to her husband recently going to heaven. She is working with the children at the mission in Olathe. Pray for her in that ministry.

Russ and Pat Railsback (MSC Consultants for Long's Peak Association)

Russ has had shoulder surgery.  Pray for a complete and speedy recovery.

Richard and Sharon Keith (MSC Church Planters)

After 15 years, they are retiring and moving to Florida.

MSC Retreat (Oct. 7-9)

Please be in prayer for the retreat, that it would be a time of refreshment and encouragement for MSC workers. Also, pray for our guest speaker, Tim Cummins.
