Genesis

Rand Clark, Genesis church planting pastor, had a great team during the week of PowerPlant. The students did a lot of hard work, with Rand being especially encouraged by two specific events:

• Neighborhood Party / Ice Cream Social was attended on Thursday evening by over 400 people. The community came together to for ice cream to help raise $450 for a local charity. From this event, 60 people filled out information cards - 3 people wanting to know more information about Genesis Church.
• A local college student interacted and hung out with the PowerPlant church group after meeting each other in a local park near where Genesis Church meets. This college student is a non-Christian and a self described hippy. He hung out with the church group for several activites, in which the team was able to model and share the Gospel with him.
